Living at the time revives? Hokkaido designation tangible cultural property, herring fishing ground architecture to show the history that prospered in drave.

Because roof of Otaru-shi Nishin Goten is damaged by strong wind of the morning on Saturday, November 11, 2017, and danger may involve the visitor, we were doing with temporary closing for the time being, but unfortunately should be closing in this season. The opening plans the spring of 2018.

Otaru-shi Nishin Goten which was built in Tomari-mura, Furuu-gun of west Shakotan in 1897 (Meiji 30).
We removed and rebuilt in the present location in 1958 (Showa 33) and were restored to the original state and were donated to Otaru-shi and, in 1960 (Showa 35), were appointed in cultural assets as "Hokkaido tangible cultural property drave ground architecture" for the first time in private house of Hokkaido.
In hall, we display life tool or photograph of people who lived in tool and watch box used for herring fishing and herring processing.
In addition, we can experience work-style at the time.

    We can experience work-style of drave. As for the feeling, fisherman is really-style if we wear clothes at the time in the body.

    General 300 yen, one 150 yen resident in high school student, the city 70 years or older, primary and secondary student for free
